Jeffrey Burgert was born in Lansdale Pennsylvania on his grandmother's 50th birthday. He studied at the University of Washington (B.F.A. 1999) and the University of Pennsylvania (M.F.A. 2001). He currently lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
