Jill Bullitt  has exhibited across the country and in Europe, including at the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill, NC, the American Academy in Rome, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters Invitational in New York City, where she was a Finalist for an Award in Painting. Her most recent award was a Regional Artistís Project Grant from the Wake County United Arts Council, in North Carolina, in 2009.

She has taught painting and drawing at UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, Mt. Olive College, and the Raleigh Institute of Contemporary Art, in North Carolina, as well as at the Savannah College of Art and Design, in Georgia and the University of Washington in Seattle.

Jillís schooling includes studying with Nicolas Carone in New York City, Frank Lobdell and Nathan Oliveira in the Bay Area and with Hilda Morris in Pietra Santa, Italy.
