Robert Storr is well known as a curator, critic, and writer. He is also a painter whose work has been included in group shows at the Betty Cunningham Gallery, the Andre Zarre Gallery, the Jack Tilton Gallery, and the New York Studio School and collected by the Museum of Modern Art and the Nelson Atkins Museum. Five of his paintings and a couple of works on paper will be featured in the upcoming show. Storr was curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 1990 to 2002, commissioner of the 2007 Venice Biennale, and has been Dean of the School of Art at Yale University since 2006.
